For 2023, the election is largely irrelevant to Nigeria's future, regardless of who steps into the office. Away from potential and emotive desires, crises upon crisis are coming. Once it's past, the fear of 2031 will begin.

A Nigerian Addiction to Potential
An average Nigerian can parrot the potential of Nigeria in their sleep without forethought. Giant of Africa Hope of the Black Nation 200 million population World Power These ideas are so enticing that we are willing to pay any price to realise them…

The world has moved away from unipolarity into multipolarity, and possibly WWIII may be inevitable. Consequently, you have to choose a side. It’s irrelevant your desire to be a centrist or nonaligned.

As we have observed through various postulations and publication, the powers demand an answer and your competitors will choose a side favoring their goal. If you will not choose, one will inevitably be chosen for you. Our fractures and contradiction which we ignored for so long and failed miserably to resolve, will be used against us.

Africa in the Multi-Polar World
What is Africa’s fate in a Multi-Polar World? This is a question that should keep you awake at night. You, as an African must not deny the responsibility of foreseeing what is to come and creating a path to navigate a more favourable outcome. At the Berlin conference in 1884, Africa’s fate was decided in its absence, it’s Ethnic Nations and Empi…

For all its illusionary rigidity, regardless of your opinion, the world map changed once again in 2022 and international law is still missing in action. A few nations expressed their desire to join their family and express their right to self determination the best way they could under the circumstances they've found themselves.

It is a competing reality between the “Rules-Based Order” and others which we are still witness to its progression.

The right to legitimacy
As someone who wishes to be free from colonial border trappings, I can only look on with jealousy as four new nations will be formed tomorrow and their desire to join their brothers in a federation fulfilled. The road was long but the recurring myths of eternal unc…

In what's to come, if you do not have an agenda, you will work, fight and die once again for others. What is most apparent is that history belongs to those willing to fight and die for what they believe in. Whatever you are not willing to fight and die to protect has no value in its existence. This has been proven once again in 2022.

As an African, looking into the future and understanding why today is a consequence of the past and certain realities instituted at gunpoint by the Berlin Conference is crucial. What is beyond these illegal Berlin Borders though?

Also, this year marked the 138th year since the illegal Berlin conference where our maps were drawn and have largely remained constant. Sadly, our reality still exists on the pretexts aliens set for us.

The 138th Year in the Era of Oríburúkú
In the early mornings of November 15, 1884, a group of aliens began the first of many round table discussions that would lead to the eventual destruction and subjugation of Africa. “138 years ago, the Berlin Conference destroyed Africa. The Yorùbá language became a vernacular, and the Yorùbá people…

There are no free meal. Actions have consequences and so too does inactions. Realities are bent to the will of those not only willing but also ready to do what it takes above and beyond. The meek will continue to inherit 6 feet deep of the earth.

The middle belt of Nigeria has suffered this reality immensely for hundreds of years. Jihadists and Islamic fundamentalists are making gains across West Africa and the Sahel. This is a year of introspection for us to understand what is important to live - civilisation & preservation. Every single achievement you make must be able to ensure this else it's all for naught.

The days of civilisation and their contest for ideas and thoughts are back. As it was in the past, it'll be determined on the battlefield wherever diplomacy has proven inadequate to resolve.

Civilisation - Effect of Superior Weaponry on Conquest, Colonisation and Preservation
In 2018, I watched Marco Polo for the first time. Recently, I watched it again along with The Fall of Constantinople featuring Sultan Mehmed II of the Ottoman Empire. The Walls of Constantinople fell to the Basilic, also called the Ottoman Cannon, was a very large-calibre cannon designed by Orban (a Christian), a cannon engineer. It was the largest cann…

2023 and beyond…

Are we planning to once again look on?

Will we finally understand & accept the underlying reality and principles the world functions on?

Will we apply them pragmatically and fight for our interests in this eternal game of civilisations, primacy, existence and preservation?

Will we continue to cry of being killed, subjugated, ignored, forgotten or more?

Will we continue to cry and protest while others are massacring our love once with anti-aircraft weapons?

Regardless of our choice and desires, the world has shifted. 2023 and beyond will, regardless of our readiness or desires, force upon us the reality of the world, our contradictions, and the underbelly of our primal human nature.

The choices are to either to adapt or to be subjugated & erased.

It is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both

- Niccolo Machiavelli, The Prince
